An international project in English, with an SEO platform of our own.
1russian.com is one of our international projects, written in English for a global audience. A project like this lives or dies on search — so to keep it healthy we built our own SEO audit platform: crawling, technical checks, real rankings and backlinks in one place, on our own server. It’s the same engineering we put into custom web apps for our clients.

The problem
Keeping an international project’s SEO healthy, without flying blind.
A site built for a global audience has dozens of pages, internal links, language versions, redirects, product pages: it takes very little for something to break — a duplicate title, an orphan page, a wrong canonical — and what breaks is your ranking on Google. Spotting it needs tools. But the good tools cost money: the free versions stop at 500 URLs, the rest is a monthly subscription.
On top of that, the data is scattered: real rankings live in Search Console, speed in PageSpeed, backlinks in a third tool. Pulling them together by hand, every time, isn’t a task — it’s a ritual nobody sees through to the end.
Our answer
A self-hosted SEO platform, built by us.
We designed and developed an SEO audit platform that runs on our own server: it crawls the site with no limits, runs the technical checks, pulls in real rankings from Search Console and backlinks, and puts everything in a single dashboard. No subscription, no URL ceiling. We run it on 1russian.com before we apply it to client projects — and it’s the same engineering as the custom web apps we build.
What we built
The features, from crawl to report.
Two faces of the platform
A dashboard for the analyst, a portal for the projects.
Monitor
The analyst’s workstation. Every project has its own crawls, which start in real time and can be watched live as they run. From there you move to pages, issues, internal links, rankings, competitors and performance — with charts that show how they move over time.
Cabinet
The portal for running projects with the client. Each project moves through stages — from brief to design, development, content, review, launch and maintenance — with quotes and invoices, shared files, approvals and tickets. Access via magic link, no passwords to remember.
Under the hood
An architecture built to last, written in English.
A monorepo with several applications and shared libraries, all in TypeScript and all in English, because it was born as an international product. The heavy work — crawling, analysis, export, recrawls — goes through a queue and runs in the background, so the dashboard stays responsive while it works. The interface code is organised by feature, with a single source of truth for the data.
The phases
Built in phases, without doing anything twice.
Each phase ships something usable and sets up the next. The same method we use to bring client projects online: foundations first, then the engine that delivers value, then the rest.
The result
An international project, kept in check on our own.
on URLs per crawl, where the free tools stop at 500
groups of technical checks in a single analysis engine
external data sources connected: Search Console, PageSpeed, Common Crawl, OpenPageRank, Yandex
